Intro & My Partner, Nick: How We Met, How We've Changed With Parenthood & Weaving Travel Into Our Everyday Lives

On this intro episode you'll learn about me, your host, Mari, why I started this podcast, and what you can expect to hear on upcoming episodes. My first guest is the person who became a parent with me, Nick. We share how we met, when we're our best selves, why we love travel, and how to slow down time with travel. Nick also discusses the ways in which fatherhood has changed life for him.

Mari Johnson

Hi, I’m Mari. A new-ish mother who lives abroad, thrives on travel, creativity, and the outdoors. I grew up in California, in a family that spent weekends hiking, swimming, and enjoying picnics on mountainsides. I currently live in New Zealand with my partner, Nick, and our son, where we enjoy much of the same activities. While I’ve done some adventurous things like solo traveling, hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, and moving to the other side of the world, parenthood still feels like my biggest adventure yet. I hope to create a space where like-minded people can connect, learn, and grow together.
